JOB DESCRIPTION

DEPARTMENT:ProductionREPORTS TO:Shop SupervisorEMPLOYMENT STATUS:Full Time

Position Summary: Build automated equipment utilizing mechanical and electrical prints. Candidate needs to have a strong background in mechanical knowledge, some electrical knowledge helpful, but we are willing to train this aspect of the job. We are a family-owned business that produces equipment for the fenestration industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assemble machinery according to assembly drawings.
• Perform basic electrical wiring.
• Be able to use Hand Tools.
• Exercise safe work habits and maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Reliable Attendance.
• Some on site customer installs.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Previous experience working in job shops, machine build, or fabrication a plus.
• Ability to operate machinery such as manual lathes, mills, and drill press a plus.
• Be able to read Mechanical or Electrical Blueprints.
• Demonstrate an attitude of teamwork.
• Associate Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred but not required.
