SUMMARY: This person would be working with our fluid service department to maintain machinery. (Maintaining machinery includes retaining accurate fluid levels and concentrations, lubrication, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain machinery, checking fluid levels, adding fluid, and troubleshooting
* Collect, package, and ship fluid samples for testing
* Respond to requests
* Maintain accurate records
* Adhere to safe working practices, such as logging and tagging machinery
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures
* May be trained to use a sump sucker and pressure washer for purpose of cleaning machines
* Hand shoveling machine sumps
* Will be trained in operation, dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling of centrifuge and sump sucker.
* Will be trained to test coolants using the following equipment/items - Refractometer, pH strips, pH meter, conductivity meter, bacteria/fungus strips, and tramp oil oven.
* Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repair
* Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
* Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Use of tools and equipment, including power washer
* Knowledge of different types of machinery
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* Work-related experience required/high school diploma or equivalent
* Up to 2 years experience in a similar position preferred but not required
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Required to stand, walk, sit, good manual dexterity, manipulate small objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
* Required to use computer and other equipment.
* Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
