The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technologies such as Pytorch, Pycharm, Tensorflow, Tableau, Docker, and various programming languages (e.g., Conda, Java/Python, SAS). With a minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, the candidate should be well-versed in collaborating with product design and engineering teams to understand needs, communicating findings to stakeholders, and leveraging analytics for meaningful insights.Objectives of this Role:Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to develop an understanding of needsCommunicate findings to all stakeholdersEnable smarter business processes by using analytics for meaningful insightsKeep current with technical and industry developmentsPrimary Responsibilities:Serve as the lead data strategist, identifying and integrating new datasets for leverage through product capabilitiesWork closely with the engineering team to develop data productsExecute analytical experiments to help solve problems across various domains and industriesIdentify relevant data sources and sets to mine for client business needsDevise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big-data storesPerform data and error analysis to improve modelsClean and validate data for uniformity and accuracyAnalyze data for trends and patternsInterpret data with clear objectives in mindImplement analytical models in production by collaborating with software developers and machine-learning engineersSome Must-Haves:4+ years of experience in data scienceProficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysisAdvanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modelingExperience with Pytorch, Pycharm, Tensorflow, Tableau, Docker, containerization, and programming languages (e.g., Conda, Java/Python, SAS)Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several concurrent projects.Where We're Looking For ItSchenectady, New YorkOpen to 100% RemoteOther InformationThe work hours will be approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it.
