Division Overview: Crowns Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees and teas as well as new energy drinks. Crown Beverage leads the packaging industry with innovative technologies that redefine how the world looks at beverage cans. With a large printable surface area and a wide range of sizes, shapes and decorating options, our aluminum cans are the perfect packaging format to create compelling brand presence where it counts. Here is your chance to join the Crown Beverage Division. We are currently looking for Machine Maintainers. Machine Maintainer starts at $28.29/hr, and has a 36 month progression to $30.195/hr. In addition to competitive pay, Crown offers comprehensive benefits including free company paid health insurance for employees. Candidates for this position must be able to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. This position is required to work overtime hours. Must provide a work history with dates of employment on application or within a resume. Requirements for this opportunity would include but not be limited to the following: Six years of experience in a machine repair or manufacturing environment Proven experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting skills and equipment re-building expertise are required High competency in the use of micrometers and calipers Strong math skills and computer skills Experience in using controls and settings on robotic controls Knowledge and/or experience working with high speed machinery Proven ability to interact and work effectively in a team setting This position may be called one of the following at another company: Stolle Mechanic, Maintenance, Industrial equipment repair, Industrial mechanic, Press mechanic, machine repair Preferred Requirements Working experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred. An Associates/technical degree is preferred or a related vocational/technical certification (journeyman license, etc.). Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus Working Conditions Generally works in a plant environment While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures The noise level is frequently loud
