Key Responsibilities: - Machinery Operation: Efficiently operate a variety of production machinery, including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners, to produce steel parts accurately and safely.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to guide the machining processes and ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
- Quality Control: Monitor production processes and document any exceptions or issues. Address problems promptly to maintain high standards of quality and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operation and effective communication throughout the production process.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma/GED
- Experience: 2 years in Manufacturing industry, a plus, but strong work history will be considered
- Other Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Mathematics, Problem solving
