Machine Operator 2nd shiftHours: 3 pm to 12 amEssential Accountabilities
- Machine Utilization: Operate and maintain Thermoformers efficiently and run all band saws as needed to support production.
- Process Efficiency: Identify and address non-conforming parts, check saw cuts, and perform buffing and folding of parts. Store molds correctly when time permits to streamline workflow.
- Mold Installation: Install new molds as required, ensuring adherence to safety and production schedules.
- Documentation: Complete daily production orders and reports accurately for effective tracking of production data.
- Additional Duties: Carry out other related assignments as needed to support production goals.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Production and Processing Knowledge: Understand raw materials, production methods, quality control, and logistics for efficient manufacturing and distribution.

- Mechanical Skills: Proficient in understanding and using various tools and machines, including Allen keys, wrenches, hammers, band cutting shears, and horizontal band saws.

- Math Skills: Basic mathematical abilities for simple calculations (addition, subtraction, etc.).

Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- Physical Requirements: This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. The employee must be able to perform tasks that include sitting, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, hearing, talking, and using hands for equipment handling.
- Work Environment: The role is performed in a manufacturing plant setting with potential exposure to high heat, humidity, and airborne particles. Employees must follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
