Location: New Hudson, MIDuration: 2-3 months Description: Engagement Description Primarily responsible for operating an electronic ID card issuance machine to produce plastic identification cards in accordance with established standards and prepare cards for mailing to subscribers/customers. Responsibilities also include performing routine and preventative maintenance of issuance machines and pulling special requests from production. There is also the responsibility to insert documents and prepare for mailing.Top 3 Required Skills/Experience Must have attention to detail, organizationStrong communication skillsRequired Skills/Experience Experience as a machine operator in a production environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated experience using windows-based computer applicationsPreferred Skills/Experience Experience in a production quality assurance environmentSummary Operates a computerized I.D. card encoding/embossing and inserting equipment. Produces plastic identification cards in accordance with established corporate standards and requests.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned. Operates all embossing/encoding and inserting equipment in the course of performing daily plastic I.D. card production duties.Maintains daily production logs.Runs production test tapes.Pulls special group requests from production tapes, as required.Ensures proper maintenance of equipment by completing request for service.Processes manual I.D. card emboss/recreates requests.Performs ongoing verification of production quality.Education And/Or Experience High school graduate or GED equivalent.Must complete departmental training on operation and maintenance of plastic card/embosser machinery, Datacard model 9000.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
