Earn more as you learn more with our Pay by Skill Program.Annual Salary: $41,080 - $51,043 (including shift differential)Overtime AvailablePosition Grade: 18Reports To: Planning & Fulfillment ManagerYour Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to operate machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and report any non-compliance. You will operate machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Molding Department in the Hackettstown, NJ location.You will be mainly accountable for:Operating heated molding presses to mold and cure products.Inspecting each piece for cosmetic flaws; using light to inspect the interior of work pieces.Trimming excess flash from product using a scalpel or grinding tool as needed.Removing molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle, and removing tooling from work pieces.Keeping track of approved, defective units, and final products.Qualifications for the RoleYou enjoy working with molding presses in the manufacturing industry.Ability to demonstrate your experience in manufacturing. 1 year of experience preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent.You are proficient in communicating in English.You hold current work authorization that would permit you to work for ABB in the US.More About UsWe value people from different backgrounds.
