Responsibilities
- Operate Davenport machines, ensuring they are set up correctly and functioning optimally.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance to prevent malfunctions and ensure the longevity of the machines.
- Use precision measurement tools to ensure products meet exact specifications.
- Troubleshoot any issues with the Davenport machines, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with other machine operators and team members to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Document and report any irregularities or issues to the supervisor.
- Continuously improve operations by suggesting changes and participating in improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Davenport Machine Operator in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in the use of Okuma, Mill, and Lathe machines.
- Comprehensive understanding of precision measurement and equipment maintenance.
- Proven troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate and prevent problems before they occur.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, as the role involves manual handling.
