Position Title: Machine Operator - Extrusion Wage: $23.00 - $30.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd ShiftHours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AMQPS Employment Group is currently looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join a reputable company in Des Plaines, IL. Apply today and take the next step in your career!Machine Operator - Extrusion Responsibilities:- Teardown, set up, and start an extruder line with direction from Cell Lead- Use calipers, micrometer, gauges, other measuring devices and mating parts to ensure quality products and parts meet customer specifications- Monitor various inspection/production reports to ensure the production of quality product- Efficiently manage production of product from start to finish of run- Minimize scrap and regrind- Maximize efficiency to reduce overall set-up and start-up times- Operate forkliftRequirements For Machine Operator - Extrusion:- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred- At least one year of experience in set-up and/or extrusion process- Basic math and computer skills- Able to communicate/read/write in English- Able to read blueprints- Forklift certification preferredQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
