Cortech/JobsRUs has partnered with an Asian appetizers company located in Torrance, CA Essential Job FunctionsVerifies product labels, item numbers, and lot numbers.Responsible for equipment changeover.Completes required production paperwork and reports.Responsible for monitoring, verifying and recording the X-Ray checks.Assists with the train of new personnel and directs staff working under his/her supervision.Receives and record lot numbers and quantities of all packaging material required.Systematically reports all material used.Completes the return form for all the packaging material left at the end of the shift.Responsible for case packaging, line wrapping, and the changing of film rolls machines operations.Informs supervisor of any rise in temperature from the spiral freezertemperature changes in the spiral freezer.Responsible for reporting equipment needing repairs.Reports accidents and injuries immediatelySets up, calibrates and tests equipment to ensure a smooth run, employee safety and high quality product.Programs new recipes and or updates recipes prior to each production run.Monitors oven temperature and product appearance.Sets up and verifies printer functions and quality of printing.Completes required production paperwork and reports.Reports equipment needing repair to prevent injuries and downtime.Notifies management of non- conforming products.Schedule:Must be available to work any shifts including nights and weekends.Food Safety ResponsibilitiesMonitors and enforces cGMPsFollow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre-requisite programs.All employees are required to immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food Safety issues they observe to their supervisor.Monitors and enforces Good Manufacturing PracticeQualificationsAbility to understand written and oral direction in English and/or Spanish.Ability to write reports in English and/or Spanish.Physical Requirement:Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 Lbs.Frequently push/pull up to 50 Lbs.Ability to use office equipment including computer monitors, keyboard, telephone.Job Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: $18.00 - $18.75 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftEvening shiftMonday to FridayMorning shiftWeekends as neededFor more information please contact our office 510-###-####
