Sauder Manufacturing Co, Archbold, Ohio, United States of AmericaJob DescriptionPosted Monday, August 19, 2024 at 4:00 AMSCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PMPosition Summary:Machine Operator III will have various tasks and responsibilities including:Complex machine setup, tooling changes, and changeoversMachine troubleshooting and problem-solvingAbility to use computersAble to read blueprints or markersEnter detailed program data for complex parts and processesAccurate use of complex measurement toolsComplex parts and processesA lot of varying parts, fine detail, last step before finishingThis role would also encompass the designated backup for the Production Leader II in the cell or department.Position Requirements:Must be detail-orientedAbility to recognize discrepancies and initiate resolutionRegular lifting and maneuvering of products up to 50 lbsRequires full shift of standing, walking, bending, and liftingAble to read, write, and follow instructions, both written and verbalAble to use basic hand tools and small power equipmentAble to assist in training employees5-S audits and daily cleaningEnsures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)Experience and Knowledge Required:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious manufacturing experience preferredKey Attributes Required:A self-starting, goal-oriented, customer-focused individual who takes personal accountability and acts in accordance with the Company's valuesPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
