Machine Operator Job Duties:Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Operate industrial coiling machine manufacturing wound commercial copper coils from tubes of various diameters and wall thickness. Perform set up, operation, change over, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance for machinery. Performs banding operation using hand held pneumatic bander and manually operated crimper. Performs dimensional analysis of copper tubs a designated intervals during processing using micrometer. Use a variety of hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, pry bars, hammers, etc. Conduct safety audit of equipment at the beginning of each shift, records results of audit and submit results to Supervisor. Performs all applicable SOP's, JSA's and QAP's associate with assigned job. Ensure workspace is clean and tidy throughout the department Qualifications Qualifications High School diploma preferred.
