Job DescriptionThis is a multifunctional role where the operator will be responsible for managing material flow, machine operation, machine maintenance, and inventory accuracy. Must perform all TPM and LOTO requirements as defined. Use 6S principles to organize work area and perform quality checks as required to meet CTQ elements. Employee is required to wear any applicable personal protective equipment, work at a productive rate, maintain quality, and perform all other duties as assigned.Organizational RelationshipPosition reports to the Receiving SupervisorResponsibilities
  • Meet objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, customer service and inventory accuracy.
  • Regularly audit current practices to challenge the teams, bring awareness to opportunities, and to make sure that continuous improvement becomes a mindset.
  • Request and review materials needed for production work orders.
  • Prepare and issue materials based on scheduling needs.
  • Receive, unload, and store materials.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • CNC process management.
QualificationsQualifications
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment without air conditioning.
  • Ability to stand for long periods with frequent stooping and bending.
  • Capability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Availability for overtime as required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment/post-offer drug test and background check.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Problem solving skills; ability to conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • CNC experience preferred.
