Operate and/or use related machinery, equipment, and tools necessary to complete assembly / parts fabrication to specification, which include hoists, slings, grinders (portable and bench), drills, presses, punches, saws, bending machines, tape measure, hand tools. Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED 2 years production machine operator experience Basic reading/wriging skills PC Skills Math Skills Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals Understanding of 6Ssalary: $18 - $18.5 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6:30 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesFabricate assemblies / parts for products and changes to existing productsSet-up, and lay out work fuing fixtures and guides to fabricate parts and assembliesArrange parts for fabrication and staging processesReview finished assemblies and parts to ensure accuracy against drawings and BOMsReport Fabrication issues and assist in resolutions as requiredDiagnose process and quality issues and make improvement recommendationsReject defective parts and material according to policyParticipate in cross training programThe essential functions of this role include:+ working in a smoke free environment+ wearing steel toe shoes+ manual lifting up to 50lbs+ standing for 8 hours at one timeSkills+ Fabrication+ Hand tools+ Tape measure+ Math and Calculation+ SettingQualifications+ Years of experience: 2 years+ Experience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
