The company is well-established, growing, and provides a clean work environment with great pay and benefits upon permanent hire.As a Manufacturing Support Technician (Machine Operator), you will play a vital role in production process. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing. - High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
- Personal Reliable Transportation
- Promotes positive team interactions to support unified approach to achieving company goals.
- Assists other operational groups such as finishing, packaging, maintenance and quality, when required.
- Responds to line upsets to assist Rear Forming with securing the Forming Line.
- Proficient in the safe use of forklifts, clamp trucks, motorized handcarts and other material handling equipment, as required.
- Helps promote continuous improvement through involvement in team meetings, safety initiatives, task forces, focus teams, etc.
- Key element in performance review.
- Maintains housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Job Responsibilities of a Machine Operator:
- Set up machines based on specifications and production requirements.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently during production runs.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Record production data and report any issues or defects.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
