Staffworks is hiring Machine Operators in Greer, SC. This is a 12-hour shift that alternates weekends every other week. Week 1 would be Monday, Tuesday, Friday-Sunday Week 2 would be Wednesday and Thursday, 7 am - 7 pm. Payrate $16.50 per hour As a machine operator, the employee is responsible for efficiently and safely operating all positions of Line 2: Pack-Out, Sleeving, Floating , and Automatic Splicer. These positions typically rotate every 2 hours to avoid fatigue. - Must be able to safely use a utility knife (provided). - Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. - Employees must be forklift certified and wear required PPE at all times. (We will certify you here, but some experience is preferred). We provide all PPE except for steel toe shoes/boots. - Responsible for ensuring the quality of the goods being produced from Line 2. - Responsible for notifying shift lead or supervisor of all maintenance or production issues.Machine Operator Levels and pay rates are determined by the efficiency and quality of the work performed as well as the duration on the job.We are looking for someone who does well working with a team.Punctuality, attendance, and attitude are huge factors in becoming a full-time member.MUST be able to stand for long periodsMUST have steel-toed shoes*Equal Opportunity Employer#talroogreer
