#x 9; Helps ensure production needs are met with regard to quality, GMPs and safety. This includes HAACP. Responsible for staging of all blending batches following positive release procedure, FIFO dates, and special instructions noted for products that contain boxed ingredients. Responsible for supplying blenders with batches on an as needed basis. Responsible for emptying trash from blending deck. Responsible for putting away all partial ingredients that come off the blending deck, to their proper storage location. Responsible for cleaning parts in the intake during the C. I. P. process. Comprehend all aspects of the C. I. P. process, including, salt flushes, flavor flushes, allergen cleans, and cocoa C. I. P.s. Maintain sanitation level in the staging area at all times. Points out equipment problems to maintenance for repairs and follows up on progress. Works with the other Blending operators and Supervisor to ensure a smooth transition from shift to shift.
