Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 5:00 AM-2:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $19.23 an hour
The Trash Dock associate will perform a variety of tasks including completing required paperwork, operating the controls on the compactors, making adjustments; and operate the trash compactors and balers.
Starting pay up to $19.23 per hour + Attendance Bonus! ($0.50 for first shift and $0.60 for second shift)
You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a general labor, you will report to the operations team. You will work onsite at the Council Bluffs location.
**You Will:**
+ Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
+ Operate P.I.T.'s
+ Work individually and with others as a team
+ Push or pull up to 50 lbs. repetitively
+ Obtain all required paperwork for shift
+ Check compactors for anything out of the ordinary
+ Dump and compact trash into the trash compactors
+ Add cardboard into the cardboard baler and bale the cardboard for recycling
+ Add plastic into the vertical baler and bale the plastic for recycling
+ Pump liquids (fats, oils and grease) into the designated tank
+ Monitor the compacting process
+ Load the cardboard, barrels, pallets, and plastic onto the designated trailer
+ Cleaning compactors, totes, work area
+ Ensure good housekeeping and 5S standards are met
+ Complete all required paperwork and document important data
+ May perform general labor tasks as assigned
**You have:**
+ Knowledge of GMP's and food allergens
+ Be PIT Certified
+ Be LOTO Certified
+ Knowledge of the 5S concept
+ Work with animal and allergen products
**Qualifications:**
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: Minimum 3 months production or related experience
