Job Title: Technician ApprenticeJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Technician Apprentice to join our team in Canton, OH. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a variety of tasks each day. The role includes identifying parts, documenting, operating machinery, and engaging in general manufacturing duties. This is a first shift position with a competitive pay rate of $24-$25/hr.ResponsibilitiesIdentify parts using drawings.Accurately count and document parts while utilizing the Bill of Materials.Operate a forklift and overhead crane to collect and move materials.Stack, unstack, and pack boxes, parts, and spares.Learn to place orders for bolts, nuts, fittings, and piping.Prepare parts for painting, mask parts, and clean coating.Perform basic assembly using hand tools.Show interest in machine building or similar hobbies or experience.Dismantle and reassemble machinery, and learn to set up and commission machines.Essential SkillsGeneral labor skills in assembly/construction, computer operation, shipping/receiving, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading.Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation.Proficiency in computer skills and documentation.Understanding of the Bill of Materials.Desire to grow and learn new skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in customer relationship management, good communication, and interpersonal skills.Automation experience.Painting skills.Experience in parts purchasing.Why Work Here?Join a clean and organized work environment where each day offers different tasks.
