Inspects looms for proper operations.Makes adjustments to loom and/or repairs parts of the loom that are not working properly.Dismantles or partially dismantles looms to make necessary repairs, adjustments, or replacement of parts.Reassembles looms after repair work is completed.Changes out cams, gears, and pulleys on loom.Performs daily and weekly preventative maintenance audits on assigned looms.Troubleshoots malfunction of looms.Greases and cleans mechanical parts of looms.Cuts selvage waste away from axles and shafts of looms.Keeps machine covers in place and replace them when needed.Performs other duties assigned by management.Follows all safety rules to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.CompetenciesAttention to DetailPrioritization SkillsTeamworkProblem Solving SkillsSelf-MotivatedTechnical SkillsSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a manufacturing environment. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust and various chemicals, and moving parts requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toe shoes.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the candidate is regularly required to talk, walk, stand (for extended periods of time), and hear. The candidate must be able to read and understand Porini. The candidate must have good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. The candidate must be able to weave. The candidate will be required to reach out and overhead with hands and arms, and perform repetitive hand actions - grasping, push/pull, and fine manipulations. The candidate will be required to bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull with entire body weights up to 150 lbs. The candidate must be able to climb up and down steps as necessary. The candidate must be able to distinguish the difference in the color of cones. The candidate must have 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision. Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM. Weekend and overtime may be required as job duties demand.TravelThis position requires little to no travel. Required Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDMust be able to operate a forklift, pole truck, electric rider pallet truck, style change truck, and warp pan truck.
