Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Maintain the equipment by total preventative maintenance (TPM) standards
Schedule monthly TPM activities
Lead and direct associates during TPM activities
Find abnormal machine problems as well as finding the root cause of the problem
Repair minor items, safely operate and maintain machines by mass production criteria (quality, cost, delivery), and stabilize the machines' working parameters
Verify product quality and find machine quality problems, identify and adjust the machine to correct using root cause analysis and assisting with production needs as necessary
Communicate with support areas
Track, plot and implement countermeasures for downtime trends
Train associates on complex and robotic machines

Pay Rate: $28.00/hr with increase to $29.30/hr after the completion of training
Shift Premiums for 2nd ($2/hr) and 3rd ($1/hr) shifts

Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience of mechanical systems experience (obtained by running mass production equipment in a manufacturing environment) including efficient machine operation, performing preventative maintenance, understanding production ratios, applying lock out tag out, and 5S in daily activities, deep understanding of product quality and documentation, and experience in Kaizen
Must be able to pass a validated, timed hands-on mechanical aptitude assessment and a mathematics and mechanical aptitude test
Must be able to read and interpret manuals and perform basic math with a calculator.
Must be able to read, compute, interpret, construct and maintain charts, records, log books and graphs
Must demonstrate proper use of basic hand tools and measurement devices
Must have basic computer skills
Must have general knowledge of safety procedures and standards (preferably TS16949 and ISO14000)
