Service Director

One of my best clients, a leading precision CNC manufacturing cutting tool manufacturer, is looking for an Service Director. A bit about the company:

For over 40 years, they have been a leading US and international cutting machine tool manufacturer. They are recession-durable. They offer great benefits and a culture you can build a career in successfully. They are structured, stable, and high tech.

The Service Director is tasked to manage costs and revenue generation to keep assigned local offices profitable and manage customer satisfaction in regards to service quality and response time on a highly analytical basis.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree desired. Strong compentence with modern machine tools, recent tangible certification in Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, AB or similar controls.
• Expert troubleshooter and break fix guru on 5 axis CNC machines etc.
• Experience leading a field team and managing a business unit at a director level.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC systems, CNC programming
• Related field and/or machining knowledge preferred. Some hands on experience with CNC machines needed.
