They make an extensive range of monitoring equipment allows for precise control of contained environments, ensuring compliance with regulations.Pay Rate: $16.80/hrShifts: Mon-Fri 7am-330pm, Mon-Fri 3:30pm-Midnight Summary:The Machine Tool Set - Up Operator located in Wolcott, IN reports to our Plant Manager. In this role you'll have responsibility for an entire manufacturing process on a given piece of manufacturing equipment.his position is responsible for the initial setup, any necessary adjustments to that setup, completion of the work order and any final tear-down / clean-up.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and install any necessary tooling, fixtures, raw material, software or other machine components necessary for parts production as directed by the supervisor to fill order requirements.
- Operate machine tool after set-up, checking first pieces to assure conformance with prescribed quality standards. This involves measurements using standard precision instruments or pre-set gages and blueprints prepared by the company's engineering staff. Maintain conformance with quality standards throughout each production run.
- Monitor production throughout the process and adjust setup as necessary to maintain conformance to quality standards and part specifications. .
- Perform basic machine maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the safety of each setup by using all guards and required PPE.
- Care for hand tools and manufacturing devices and tooling related to assigned machines, storing as directed or in accordance with shop procedures.
- Record production information.

Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:
- Must Possess ALL Machine Shop Set - Up Leader, Experience and Requirements
- Must have sufficient experience and/or training in basic machine shop practices to operate and set-up equipment in accordance with shop drawings and tooling instructions.
- Ability to plan and utilize assembly labor is essential to maintain production schedules.
- Must be able to routinely set the example and machine quality product(s) efficiently.
- Must be able to perform managerially assigned tasks.
- Must possess the ability to properly train other employees to perform various machining or related manufacturing tasks.
