Working for our team, you can truly make a difference. MCC is looking for a Machinist/Assembler. The Machinist/Assembler position will primarily consist of 80% assembling industrial equipment, and 20% manufacturing machined parts. Why work at MCC: Compensation: $28.00 - $31.00 hourly Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k) Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two plant-designated Holidays Responsibilities: Setup and operate manual Bridgeport and lathe milling equipment. Understand and utilize precision measurement tools with good data techniques. Inspect and QC finished parts. Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms. Ability to understand equipment, read electrical drawings, schematics, manuals and wiring diagrams. Discern quality of parts and materials used in production. Disassemble, and assemble equipment. General Fabrication skills Knowledge and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. Follow company procedures and directives. Support safety related improvements related to process/equipment. Detailed orientated and able to maintain a clean work area. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be able to work 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Minimum of 2 years' experience operating horizontal end mill and Lathe required. Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, basic electrical controls Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing Demonstrate essential computer skills Work cooperatively in a team environment Ability to lift 40-50lbs General ability and knowledge of Manufacturing Safety, Basic electrical, mechanical, metal machining, electrical control devices, Ability to work efficiently and effectively in either a team or individual basis Problem solving experience Continuous Improvement experience in Manufacturing Environment Diversity & Inclusion: MCC fosters an inclusive culture that respects and embraces our teammates' diverse backgrounds and experiences, so that everyone can achieve their full potential here.
