MachinistPlymouth, MN Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill the position of direct hire Machinist III opening with a company located in Plymouth, MN. Interested candidates should have 5+ years of machining and 3+ years of working in ISO or AS workplaces. Machinist Job Description:
- Efficiently use machine tools and time to make quality parts
- Using Mastercam, create clear, logical programs on moder to high complexity parts, with documentation for other to follow
- Create and apply new and complex work holding and fixtures
- Setup new and repeating high complexity parts
- Maintain a rolling 12-week average setup and run time efficiency of 75% or higher
- Competently complete secondary operations such as deburring
- Perform basic machine preventative maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production management, engineering and quality to establish effective processes
- Work efficiently with a team to achieve production goals
- Achieve tolerance of +/- .0002” using best machining practices
Machinist Job Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred
- 5+ years of experience in machining
- 3+ years of experience working in ISO or AS workplaces
- Experience producing tight tolerance parts in both production and prototype environments
- GD&T Certified
Compensation for Machinist: The starting salary for the Machinist III position is $24.00 to $31.00 hourly.
