Our client in Irwin is seeking a Machinist to join the teamPosition will be on a 1st shift day lightDuties:- Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and other tasks.- Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.- Utilize measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges) to ensure precision.- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery.- Must be able to wear a respirator (clean-shaven face required) and steel-toed boots throughout the shift.Job RequirementsQualifications:- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.- Proficient in using precision measuring tools.- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations.
