Location: New Milford,CT, USA
Duties:- Program, set up and operate DPM, LPM, CNC and/or lathe machines to produce precision parts & instruments- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and/or other specifications to determine dimensions & tolerances of finished pieces- Calculate dimensions & tolerances using various measuring instruments- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards- Perform routine maintenance on machines & equipment-Assemble parts as needed
Requirements:- Previous experience as a machinist or similar role- Ability to read and interpret blueprints & technical drawings- Familiarity with using measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
