Machinist Needed for local Tuscaloosa companyPay =$15 - $18 depending on experience 1st shift- 8:00am-4:00pm Requirements:
- Must be able to read and operate metrology equipment
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, etc. required
- Must have prior experience working in a machine shop or similar environment operating lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, Blanchard grinders, OD/ID grinding or similar
- Should be able to perform setup, run and troubleshoot machine tool operations on a production floor
- Must be able to produce high quality parts to tolerate in a production environment using manual machine tools
