Our client, a Precision Manufacturing Company, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Machining and Fabrication Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills and a passion for working with manual equipment, which will align successfully in the organization's commitment to craftsmanship and high-quality standards.

Pay Range: $25

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, and other non-computerized equipment to manufacture precise parts based on technical drawings.
• Measure and inspect finished products using traditional measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on older machinery to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
• Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine the necessary materials and machining processes for production.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure product quality, precision, and efficiency in manufacturing processes.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 consecutive years of experience as a machinist, specifically working with manual, non-computerized machinery (lathes, milling machines, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
• Proficiency in using traditional measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain older machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
