If this environment speaks to you, join our amazing team. Job Summary Independently operate mechanical press. Must understand gage aspects and can produce quality parts. Assist in tool set-up process as well as achieving a first piece approval without assistance. Maintains a safe, clean work environment during his/her entire shift. Meets target production goals in a timely manner. Education and Experience High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Must be able to use hand tools. Must be able to understand press controls, gaging, and all paperwork. 2+ years Transfer Press Experience 2 + years CNC Experience Primary Job Duties

  • Must be able to run both progressive and hand transfer tools.
  • Must be able to adjust press to maintain the quality of parts.
  • Must be able to produce parts per the Stamp PI process sheets.
  • Must be able to learn tool set-up functions and to work on achieving a first piece approval without assistance.
  • Be able to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Meet production requirements for the parts being run.
  • Must be able to read micrometers, calipers, and scales.
  • Be able to use gage required to maintain quality parts.
  • Learn and perform all functions in relation to QAD Inventory system.
  • Perform Quality checks correctly and at the proper times required.
  • Can relieve other Press Operator associates for breaks, lunches, restroom, etc.
  • Must be able to learn and perform job functions related to MQ1, and HDS One Stop programs.
  • Assist in rework activities as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements Job Requirements Must be able to sit, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a consistent basis. Must be able to work overtime as needed, 10 hour or 12-hour shifts (up to 7 days a week.) Must have physical dexterity. Must be able to stand for 10 hour or 12-hour shifts w/ breaks every two hours. Must use required PPE: Cut resistant gloves, safety glasses, cut resistance sleeves (worn to elbow), earplugs or muff, and metatarsal steel toe shoes. Must complete Forklift certification. Must complete Overhead Crane Training Must complete Press Classes.
