$2000 RETENTION BONUSParticipating Employer: MI Tr-Share Child Care Program*Your child cost is reduced by 66% for eligible employees*Machinist Manufacturing TechnicianAs a Machinist Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for helping prepare tooling, machines, and materials for Production.Essential Duties / ResponsibilitiesInspect and Change inserts on spent toolingUse hand tools for deburring Aerospace componentsScan and Move raw materials from the staging area to the machineScan and Move finished parts from the machining area to the next OpSupport the CNC Machinists in the areaInspect parts using Hand Gages and Pocket ProfilometersKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to follow verbal and written instructionsKnowledge of hand tools Able to lift 35lbs multiple times a dayGood hand-eye coordinationHigh finger dexterity/nimbleAble to handle very small componentsWork in a team environmentAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to identify and prioritize tasksQualifications:Some experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required. Able to sit/stand for a 10-hour shiftWork Environment:Climate-controlled manufacturing facility with a moderate noise level. In this position, you work full-time in a manufacturing setting.
