Join our team at Adecco as a Machinist with our client in Fredericktown, OH, where you will be responsible for machining products to specifications based on mechanical drawings. Utilize various machines to ensure quality and precision in our production processes.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD mechanical drawings.Set up machines and perform machining operations within specified tolerances.Monitor machine operations to detect material defects or malfunctions.Conduct general machine maintenance and improvements in setup times.Maintain cleanliness and safety in the Machining Department.Assist in sub-assembly and final assembly as needed.Provide training to team members.Comply with all safety rules and regulations.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of manual machining experience.Strong work ethic and punctuality.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and detail-oriented.Proficiency in mathematical applications for machining, including metric and English conversions.Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and tolerances.Familiarity with measuring instruments and machining processes.Must possess a valid driver's license.Skills and Abilities:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to accept and learn from constructive criticism.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and communicate effectively.Capable of conducting tests and inspections to evaluate quality.Work Environment:This position is in a shop environment that requires PPE as per OSHA standards.Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and vibration.May involve working under tight deadlines and in varying climate conditions.Physical Demands:Regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs, and use hands.Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.Requires good vision for close work and depth perception.Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
