With a commitment to innovation, quality, and collaboration.Machinist operator:•Operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders to make ceramic parts to exacting tolerances and dimensions.•Interprets prints, sketches, engineering specifications, and work order instructions for each job operation.•May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.•Complete routine machine maintenance.•Perform to commitments regarding on-time delivery and completion of projects.•Participate in safety improvements and initiatives as requested.•Maintain high ethical standards for conduct.•Work collaboratively with fellow employees.•Willing to work reasonable overtime as needed to meet customer and department demands.Basic qualifications:•High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years additional related experience.•Experience working with CNC machining. HAAS Control experience is considered an asset.•Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).•Familiarity with manual machiningSetup/Operator (the above plus the following):•Setting up and operating of a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders to make ceramic parts, to exacting tolerances and dimensions.•Design & build simple fixtures as required to meet product conformity.Basic qualifications (the above plus the following):•Good problem-solving skills.•Read and write G-Code.•CAD/CAM experience.Preferred Qualifications•Previous Ceramic machining experience is considered as asset.•Experience with Fusion 360recblid ovgioso19qefrjo5yrgqycvcre51ca
