Join us to help deliver the next groundbreaking Apple product.DescriptionAs a Mac system administrator you will share responsibility for macOS installation and restore at scale, macOS automation, servicing help desk requests and root cause analysis of issues. You will assist technical users in debugging operational issues utilizing resources such as established documentation, senior staff and corporate technical support organizations. You will collaborate with an experienced team of operations and development professionals which will facilitate growth in your role. Your contributions will positively impact rapid targeted debug and triage of Apple products.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of relevant work experience.Key QualificationsPreferred Qualifications• Experience with Mac hardware and macOS• Experience with macOS installation, troubleshooting, recovery• Troubleshooting Mac and basic networking issues• Experience working in a customer service organization• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, AppleScript• Working knowledge of TCP/IP Networking (IPs, subnets, DNS)• Experience with Ansible and/or Puppet• Knowledge of macOS MDM provisioning such as Jamf• Network Administration / CCNA• Experience with network storage technologies (NAS, NFS Filers, S3)• Experience with UNIX administration• Experience with Gitlab.Education & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
