Job DescriptionThe Team:The Herms Beverly Hills Flagship Boutique opened in 1972 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as a part of the Western Region. This position will report to the Floor Director and will work collaboratively with the sales team and selling support teams to support the client experience in a fast-paced, luxury environment.The Opportunity:The primary responsibilities of the Made-to-Measure Specialist are to provide highly developed technical MTM skills to achieve selling and customer service objectives, and inspire the customer with the craftsmanship of Herms' product. The Made-to-Measure Specialist will achieve individual sales objective, while continually developing and assisting the entire staff on proficiency and familiarity of the MTM program. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.About the Role:Made-to-Measure Expertise
- Ensure the highest level of MTM services is provided while conveying in-depth knowledge of fabric and custom suit products, including composition, style and origin.
- Serve as a trusted advisor in assisting customers in product choice, providing style advice and fit recommendations, and work collectively with the tailor on proper fit for the client.
- Develop and train staff on new seasonal fabrics, and ensure entire team has a thorough understanding of the program while assisting in order generation and follow-through.
- Serve as an Ambassador in frequently communicating with MTM metier in Paris, relay feedback on products and services from customers to the department in Paris, follow through in managing and tracking orders from start to finish, and reinforce standards on MTM services to minimize rejection rates.
- Demonstrate consistent high level of customer service and sales productivity, with an entrepreneurial approach in supporting MTM events, as well as services in MTM/Bespoke for own clientele, assisting in the process with other team members and providing technical expertise to manage customer questions.
- Additional responsibilities include the updating and maintenance of all necessary tools for the program, maintaining work station, ensuring seasonal swatch books are updated weekly.
Sales Objectives
- Maintain presence on the sales floor and serve as an ambassador of the program to clients while also assisting in general selling activities throughout the store as needed.
- Accountable for meeting personal sales goal, selling across all mtiers not limited to MTM, and work as part of a team for boutique to achieve its collective target.
- Organize and prioritize work station and selling floor to support the sales effort. Ensure all items (bags, boxes, note cards, ribbon, stationary and the like) are stocked at all times.
- Maintain selling floor to meet standards to including straightening, filling in and replenishment of new receipts following VM guidelines, physical EAS tagging, ticketing, etc.
- Provides assistance as need in inventory preparation.
POS
- Responsible for processing and ensuring the accuracy of all transactions including receipts, CRM files (which provide meaningful detail of purchase history and sales analysis, SKUs, monetary payment and client verification), and the administrative support of after sales service when needed.
- Partners with management on POS decisions and communicates discrepancies, should they occur, during the opening, closing and general POS variances by end of business day.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation at all times.
Asset Protection
- Responsible for complying with all asset protection procedures such as employee sign in sheets, and bag checks in conjunction with AP as applicable.
- Practice appropriate AP techniques and follows all guidelines for key control and merchandise security.
- Respects physical EAS tagging guidelines and ensure all products are properly ticketed (on floor, back of house and merchandise returns).
- Properly prepares for physical inventory and participates in monthly cycle counts (or as directed by management).
Customer Service
- Consistently provide high levels of service to our clients within the Herms standard of service: prompt and friendly greeting, offer to assist and answer questions, and assistance with wrapping and packaging at POS.

About You:
- 2+ years in Made-to-Measure or custom clothing experience. Minimum two years of experience in sales, experience in a luxury environment preferred.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail.
- Elevated leadership and communication skills.
- Even-tempered with ability to continuously multi-task
- Self-starter and able to work independently while balancing collaboration with a team
- Open availability to accommodate needs of the business
- Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs. without assistance
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred but not required
The range for this position is $23.80 - $32.20.
