Position Purpose: Performs receipt, delivery, and mail functions for the campus including pickup, receipt, and delivery of stock, mail, and packages. Operates Metering system, SQBX package tracking scanners, software and NEOPOST package delivery software.

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: - Experience working in a customer service oriented environment.
- Experience with e-mail, Word and Excel software and with operating computerized systems.
- Must be qualified under the terms of the Dartmouth College Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Policy and maintain a valid DOT card. Must pass the College driver safety course within 90 days. Must maintain standing of Dartmouth College Approved Driver.
- Must successfully complete and remain compliant in all training, certification, or trades-related coursework as may be required nationally, state-wide, or by the College.

Description: Mailroom Services
- Receives and signs for controlled mail (insured, delivery confirmation, express, etc.) from various delivery services.
- Processes outgoing mail and packages for delivery by various delivery services ( USPS , UPS , Fed Ex, etc.)
- Stacks large packages in storage or secured area.
- Enters package information into tracking system.
- Sorts mail into designated mail boxes.
- Forwards mail using downloads from IRA provided by the Lead Mail and Delivery Specialist.
- Provides customer support at service window.
- Either by phone, email or in person, responds to questions related to delivery of packages and mail.
- Answers routine questions about USPS mail delivery service.
- Assists students at window with minor problems they may have regarding mail delivery.
- Refers any customer issues to supervisor for resolution.
- Transports mail within the mail room and adjacent storage areas.
- Moves and stacks medium to large size packages to designated store areas by use of hand dollies or carries items not exceeding 70 pounds in weight.
- Operates the College's mail metering system for outgoing US and international mail.
- Provides bulk mail paperwork to Hanover Post Office when applicable.
- Maintains a working knowledge of USPS regulations as it pertains to the metering of outgoing packages and mail.
- Attends or participates via the web in postal training seminars.

Description: Delivery Services Loads and stacks mail and packages into delivery truck Transports and delivers:
- Mail to all College departments
- Central Stores, Remsen, Borwell and FOM Stockroom inventory materials
- Office products materials and/or equipment
- Deliveries to Central Stores Receiving including FedEx/ UPS shipments, and FO&M materials and/or equipment
- Computer Store sales to College departments
- DPMS print jobs to College departments
- Bulk mail to White River Junction Post Office before 3 p.m. daily
- Routine deliveries/pick ups for Records Management, the Controller's Office and the Finance Center.
- Special deliveries/pick ups as requested
- Custodial supplies to all College building
Picks up and delivers:
- USPS , UPS /FedEx packages at various department locations as requested
- Used materials and/or equipment as requested for relocation or disposal in accordance with the College's Disposal Policy.
- Maintains knowledge of hazardous chemicals and materials.
- Attends periodic mandatory hazardous materials training seminars.
- Maintains shipping, receiving, and delivery logs to track parcel quantities and delivery information.
