Job Description: SumnerOne is seeking an on-site Mainframe Print Specialist to join our team at SumnerOne's Print Shop. In this role, you will be responsible for managing mainframe software and high-volume printing processes to ensure the timely production and distribution of critical business reports. This position involves operating advanced printing and envelope inserting equipment, maintaining quality standards, and performing physical tasks within the print shop. Responsibilities:
- Mainframe File Management:
- Operate and manage mainframe software to receive and process time-sensitive files for printing
- Production Printing Operations:
- Run high-volume/production copy machines to produce daily, weekly, monthly and yearly mainframe reports
- Operate an envelope inserter for outgoing regional and international reports
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain printers and other equipment to ensure high-quality output and uninterrupted operations
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain daily meter and service logs for tracking and reporting print shop activities
- Physical Activity:
- Ensure the print shop environment is organized and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in standard business software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of mainframe software operations and high-volume printing processes preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving extended periods of movement and lifting
