Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Tech I Multicraft for our Monticello, AR plant. Functional Responsibilities
  • Effectively work with other associates in the department to promote team spirit.
  • Wire all types of motors.
  • Ability and knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to all electrical and electronics.
  • Lighting, electrical control circuits, as well as other applicable electrical tasks.
  • Ability and knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping of maintenance shop area.
  • Set up/ operates lathe, Milling machine, or grinder to specification.
  • Capable of operating machine.
  • Pipe fitting, fabrication, minor plumbing.
  • Assures machinery and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Maintains accurate maintenance work order records.
  • Preform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Functional Requirements
  • Tow Motor
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. minimum
  • Minimum of tow (2) years applicable technical trade-school or two (2) or more years of proven electrical and millwright related experience, (working on industrial equipment).
  • Obtained additional electrical training and knowledge to repair and maintain industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
Skills
  • Must be able to communicate in an effective and respectful manner.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability and knowledge to read and understand schematics.
  • Trained and passed Lift-Truck Operation Safety Course.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter, ability to work without direct supervision.
