About the Role:

As the Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our multi-family and single-family rental properties, commercial properties, and HOA-managed communities. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. Your main goal will be to ensure that our properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained, to support our business operations, and to provide a positive experience for our clients and residents.

The Maintenance Director, will assign daily tasks and assist the maintenance technician(s) in the field, establish preventive maintenance programs, perform property and equipment inspections, maintain project inventory, and ensure compliance with all maintenance-related policies. You will perform tasks as needed, which may include service requests and preparing units for rent availability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a multi-family or single-family home setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in project management or a related field.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets and controlling costs.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as multi-family development or single-family home management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our properties and equipment.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repair work, minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory records.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, and promote a culture of safety among maintenance staff.

In this role, you will use your strong leadership and management skills to oversee a team of maintenance technicians and ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. You will also use your problem-solving and decision-making skills to develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols, and to coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repair work. Compensation details: 70000-105000 Yearly Salary
