ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
- Maintenance Management: Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive maintenance program for all plant machinery and equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal performance and reducing downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Quickly diagnose machinery issues, conduct, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime. Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, conducting thorough repairs and modifications to maintain equipment functionality. Ensure that all repairs are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external maintenance technicians and production staff, sharing best practices for equipment care and operation.
- Equipment Optimization: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance productivity and reliability.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to management promptly. Prepare regular reports for management on machinery status and maintenance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules as well as identify and resolve any equipment-related issues promptly.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train line operators and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the maintenance team.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements related to machinery operations. Implement best practices to optimize maintenance processes.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring that necessary components are available when needed. Purchases new replacement parts for machinery when needed.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety audits and safety training sessions to promote a culture of safety.
- Facilities Management: Ensure facility and associate support equipment is properly operating and coordinate any repairs as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities None EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in industrial maintenance, machinery repair, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in machinery maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environment.CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Knowledge of PLC and sensor components for Allen Bradly, Siemens, and AMS.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Proficient in maintenance management software, Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and email.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Must have the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision including time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner.

- This position is based on-site at our manufacturing facility, but some (20%) travel will be required including out-of-town.
