Maintenance Assistant

Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility is a 140-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in the beautiful Catskill mountains. We are committed to being the leading provider of quality care in Sullivan County. In order to achieve that goal, we need to meet high standards of excellence in the care and attentiveness that the building itself receives. We are currently seeking a motivated, self-directed part-time Maintenance Assistant to maintain Facility grounds and services. Normal working hours are Monday-Friday 9a-5p.

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities Include:

* General plumbing, heating, electrical maintenance and repairs

* Basic carpentry (sheet rock, spackling, painting, etc.)

* Perform routine maintenance and repair on Facility equipment

* Performing job responsibilities while maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors and staff

Requirements:

* Maintenance Assistant will be required to rotate on-call weekends with existing maintenance personnel

* Positive working attitude with team approach

* Experience in large scale facilities and with large scale systems (boilers, etc) is preferred
