Johnson School Bus is looking for mechanics! We have around 10 local school bus terminals located in southeastern Wisconsin. Those terminals contain between 10 and 50 full size school buses, minibuses and vans that need maintaining. While we would prefer an experienced mechanic, we are more than willing to train anyone interested. If you are looking to start or further your mechanic education, Johnson School Bus offers help with the process and reimbursement for certifications received while actively employed. Preferred Qualifications but not required:
- Mechanic experience
- Diesel experience
- Own tools
- Ability to travel to other locations if needed.
- CDL
Duties:
- Basic services: including but not limited to oil changes, fluids, lights, wipers, etc.
- Vehicle Cleaning: Interior & Exterior
- Part & Vehicle running
- Shop Cleaning & Organizing
- Additional duties may be assigned when required
Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Aaron W. Johnson founded Johnson School Bus Service in August 1942 when he converted a milk truck and two logging trucks into West Bend's first school buses. Today we have eleven terminal locations serving 14 school districts in southeastern Wisconsin.
