Description
Howard Johnson's Enterprises is searching for an experienced Maintenance Technician in our Neosho, Missouri location. This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions productively, working with tight schedules and deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintains the following plant equipment:
* Updates & Maintains services longs for equipment.
* Issues written and verbal purchase orders for all maintenance supplies, as well as approving invoices for maintenance purchases.
* Performs electrical, plumbing, lube, and construction activities as needed throughout the facility.
* Assists in the preparation of and is held accountable for the department budget.
* Cleans and stores all tools and equipment in proper locations.
* Perform other related duties and work alongside the maintenance supervisor.
* Able to work overtime on short notice, as needed.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Experience in welding, fabricating, cutting torches, and basic engines.
* Works well under supervision or independently with minimal supervision.
* Able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS
* Must be able to work indoors and outdoors.
* Must be able to consistently be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift depending on the activity that is being performed.
* The presence of airborne dust may require the use of a dust mask respirator depending on the type of product being transported. Employees must be able to wear a properly fit respirator, e.g. No facial hair or significant abnormalities which would prevent an airtight fit.
* Must wear all personal protective equipment to safely perform maintenance duties.
