Maintenance Assistant Team Leader

DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that equipment, production machinery, utilities and buildings are in good operating condition.

Perform preventative maintenance on all processing, production and packaging equipment.

Responsible for repairing and reporting concerns as it relates to maintaining all plant processing equipment in proper running order.

Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair automated machinery, equipment, physical structures, electrical, and pneumatic systems in a production facility.

Maintain maintenance manuals.

Update maintenance records in computer program.

RequirementsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Trade School Certification or 6+ years maintenance experience.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Experience with conventional hand tools, welding experience preferred.

Ability to set up and operate conventional shop tools and equipment.

Ability to dismantle, install, upgrade and repair equipment of fairly complicated design.

Knowledge of high and low voltage. Proficient with the use of test equipment, voltmeter, amp meter, etc.

Broad background in the following areas is required: mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

Forklift Certification or experience.

Clean driving record.

Computer experience.

Good organizational skills.
