Part-Time Position May through November 12-18 hours per week with flexible work hoursSUMMARY: The Maintenance Associate: Groundworker is responsible for maintainingthe company's properties to make them attractive and always functional forresident and staff use. Position responsibilities include, but are not limitedto maintaining the communities' trails and outdoor spaces, working closely withLoomis Village residents. This position reports to the FacilitiesDirector. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs job functions in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and guiding principles of the Loomis Communities. Adheres to the Loomis Communities Compliance and Ethics Program
- Demonstrates an awareness of, a respect for and attention to the diversity of the people with whom they interact (persons served, personnel, families/caregivers, and other stakeholders) that is reflected in attitudes, behavior and services
- Follows established policies and procedures to ensure optimal operation, maintenance, and condition of the facility's grounds. Uses hand and power tools when needed. Maintains safe, clean and orderly work areas. Maintain logs of services provided, materials used, time spent, and maintenance performed, through established documentation requirements
- Comply with all applicable local, state, federal, regulatory, and/or accrediting body standards, including but not limited to CARF/CCAC, Life safety, DPH, CMS, EOEA, OSHA, and NFPA. Implement corrective action and preventive measures
- Communicate, respond andcooperate effectively with: Facilities Director, all other staff, residents,contractors, vendors etc., with regard to all projects or repair details,including quality of workmanship, materials needed, timeline for completion,etc
