Maintenance Associate

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation) 2. Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all maintenance requests from management. 3. Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc. 4. Performs opening and closing job duties 5. Install appliances and equipment 6. Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls and any other marina specific duties that are requested 7. Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations 8. Uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks. 9. Performs touch up and finish painting. 10. Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisor 11. Other duties as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Prior maintenance experience preferred, not required 2. Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings 3. Experience or knowledge working with tools, including hand and electrical tools 4. Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills 5. Must be able to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity 6. Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously 7. Excellent attention to detail. 8. Must be able to pass a background check 9. Basic water safety skills 10. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions 11. Ability to work under pressure. 12. Must be able to work flexible hours on the needs of the property
