We are hiring an individual to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our mechanical and electromechanical equipment. Knowledge of motors, belt-driven equipment, hydraulics, gears, and timing mechanisms is beneficial. Individuals will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of looms and warping equipment. On-the-job training will be provided.
Core Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair simple and complex mechanical equipment issues and perform routine maintenance including but not limited to greasing and oiling equipment.
- Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.
- Repairing damaged equipment parts.
- Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles.
- Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like winches, blades, and side booms.
- Performing major repair work when necessary.
- Consult and or work with other mechanics.
- Report damaged or faulty equipment to management.
- Must be able to follow directions and keep equipment in good operating condition.
- Work with supervision to diagnose likely or potential causes of malfunction.
- Conduct repairs in a safe manner utilizing lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
- Learn the operation of equipment and operate the equipment as assigned for increased understanding and learning.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience performing mechanical and electromechanical repairs
- Knowledge of mechanical devices and electromechanical devices and machines.
- Exemplary track record with safety and lock-out/tag-out requirements
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machines
- Biased toward learning specific, time-tested skills and craftsmanship from seasoned professionals
- Positive attitude and ability to work well alone and with a team
