Reports to: PastorLocation: St. Peter & Paul the Apostle Parish, Bradenton FLClassification: Hourly/Non-exempt OverviewSt. Peter & Paul the Apostle Parish is seeking a Maintenance Associate who will be responsible for planning and managing all aspects of maintenance for parish buildings and property.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelops schedules for building maintenance, cleaning, sanitation, ordering of supplies and general upkeep of parish propertyPerforms routine paint, electrical, lighting, plumbing, carpentry repairs, etc. along with preventative maintenance.Provides general oversight of all contracts and activities pertaining to building and grounds operations including routine maintenance, new construction, renovation, remodeling, and any special servicesResponsible for set-up and break-down of tables and chairs for events and meetingsResponds to emergency calls 24 hours a dayPerforms recording keeping activitiesAny other duties or special projects as assigned by Business Manager or PastorHigh School diploma or equivalentMust have basic maintenance skillsWorking knowledge of building equipmentAbility to communicate clearly with vendors, staff, and parishionersUnderstanding of safety protocols and disposal of hazardous waste itemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stretch, reach continuously throughout dayAbility to work indoors and outdoorsValid drivers licenseMust pass a post offer physical exam
