We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Maintenance Associate to join our team and help maintain our store's facilities. Responsibilities:
- Perform light repairs on equipment and fixtures, ensuring all items are in good working condition.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including painting and touch-ups.
- Assist with minor electrical repairs and installations (e.g., replacing light bulbs, checking outlets).
- Support minor mechanical duties, including troubleshooting and fixing equipment.
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance tasks and projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area, ensuring tools and supplies are stored properly.
- Assist with emergency repairs as needed, responding quickly to urgent maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to provide documentation to work in the U.S.
Requirements
- Standing Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and navigate stairs for extended periods with precision and focus.
- Flexibility & Balance: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move with ease throughout the store.
- Step-Stool & Ladder Use: Comfortably utilize step-stools or ladders as needed.
- Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Mobility: Move around the store and assist with various tasks smoothly.
- Manual Dexterity: Skilled in handling tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Clear Communication: Effectively convey instructions and work seamlessly with team members.
- Reaching Ability: Capable of reaching below the waist, at the waist, and overhead.
- Environmental Tolerance: Comfortable in various temperatures and able to work with moderate dust or cleaning agents.
- Safety First: Non-slip shoes are required for safety (company does not provide these).
- Hearing Acuity: Ability to hear and respond to sounds in the environment, including alarms and communication from team members.
- Visual Acuity: Ability to see clearly at varying distances, including close-range tasks and detailed work.
